Peter de Hoop, Operations Manager
Peter de Hoop was originally destined for the staid life of an electronics engineer in Holland. Instead, a twist of fate brought him back to Aruba (his birthplace) where his drive and ideals have earned him the role of managing director of Red Sail Sports. Peter is deeply committed to ensuring the health of the island’s waters and is always a champion of causes that will advance Aruba’s environmental goals. As past President of the Aruba Watersports Association (AWA) Peter de Hoop continues to work tirelessly to improve Aruba’s underwater environment and overall safety standards.

Michel van Leeuwen, Sales & Marketing
Michel was born and raised in Holland and recently acquired his MBA degree. Having lived in several countries including the United States, Spain and Aruba, Michel has returned to Aruba to enjoy the climate, white beaches and clear waters. Michel has enjoyed a career in marketing for over ten years and is no stranger to the job. His creativity and organizational capabilities are especially displayed in incentive and meeting events. Edseline Leer, Sales & Marketing
Edseline was born and raised in Aruba. Upon receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management in the states, she was eager to return to her home country to contribute to the local hospitality industry. In 2005, Edseline joined the Red Sail Sports Sales and Marketing Department. With her addition to the company, the Destination Management Division has been a big success providing everything from round-the-clock attention for small groups of participants to massive shuttle-and-tour programs for 250 or more attendees.
